Clece, the first company in Spain with the ability to self-supply masks

Clece (Spain), the parent company to Clece Care Services (UK), has become the first company in Spain to self-supply surgical masks. The company acquired a machine that currently produces 55,000 masks a day in the South of Spain. The masks are type II surgical with a filtration capacity of 98%. They comply with all regulations and have the CE certificate of conformity.

With a natural shortage and constant need of masks in the market, Clece took the initiative to invest in a machine to provide essential protection measures to its 79,000 employees across Spain and Portugal, and soon to support the 4,000 front-line staff here in the UK.

Cristóbal Valderas, President of Clece, stated: “This investment is an important step to guarantee the supply of masks for all our employees and continue to ensure their health and safety, something that is a priority for our company.”
